Vueron Technology, a startup specializing in LiDAR-based autonomous driving solutions, announced on the 9th that it received significant attention from the industry after successfully unveiling its LiDAR autonomous driving solution at CES 2023, the world’s largest IT exhibition held in Las Vegas, USA.
CES, held annually in Las Vegas, is the world’s largest consumer electronics and IT trade show. Vueron set up a booth in the automotive section, showcasing its eco-friendly truck autonomous driving solution along with a focus on Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
Notably, Vueron presented its eco-friendly truck autonomous driving delivery solution, which it had recently launched in collaboration with Team Fresh, a cold chain logistics company in South Korea. This marks a significant advancement in autonomous driving technology, capturing the attention of the global logistics industry.
Vueron is a leading company in LiDAR autonomous driving solutions and offers differentiated perception solutions like “VueOne” for autonomous driving and “VueTwo” for intelligent transport systems (ITS) and smart infrastructure. Both are based on Vueron’s proprietary perception algorithms.
During the event, Jaekwang Kim, CEO of Vueron, stated, “Once mass production of vehicle LiDAR sensors becomes a reality, we expect a sharp increase in demand for high-quality LiDAR solutions and innovation in the logistics market. CES 2023 has garnered significant interest from global logistics companies, especially in North America, and we plan to strengthen our global business through strategic partnerships.”
Meanwhile, CES 2023, which opened amid the post-pandemic recovery, showcased evolved IT technologies such as 5G, autonomous driving, and ESG management strategies, as well as smart home products, sparking widespread interest.
