Vueron Technology, a leader in LiDAR-based autonomous driving solutions, announced on the 19th that it will unveil its eco-friendly truck autonomous driving solution at CES 2023, the world’s largest electronics exhibition, held at the Las Vegas Convention Center from January 5 to 8.
Founded in 2019, Vueron Technology (hereafter “Vueron”) specializes in LiDAR-based autonomous driving solutions. The company provides its proprietary perception algorithms in its differentiated autonomous driving solution, “VueOne,” and the perception solution “VueTwo,” which is designed for intelligent transport systems (ITS) and smart infrastructure.
Vueron is embarking on a world-first project to perform eco-friendly autonomous deliveries of fresh food using a fully electric refrigerated truck. The trucks are manufactured in collaboration with a professional truck manufacturer, and the project will be carried out alongside Team Fresh, which holds over 90% of the cold chain dawn delivery market share. Through Vueron’s LiDAR-based autonomous driving delivery system, the project is expected to reduce fuel and labor costs, address workforce shortages, and contribute to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) standards in the logistics sector.
At CES 2023, Vueron will not only showcase its eco-friendly truck autonomous driving solution but also focus on its Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Attendees will have the opportunity to experience Vueron’s cutting-edge technology through various interactive events, including a live demonstration of autonomous driving in downtown Las Vegas.
